Course Description


Master of Commerce in Finance (M.Com-Finance) is a highly sought after career option because of high demand of such professionals in Financial Sector. The syllabus of M.com in this University is quite intensive and designed as per industry requirement. This gives added advantage to students for employment in future.

M.Com is a two year (4 semester) Post Graduate Programme. The objective of the course is to build competencies of the students in the functional areas of Accounting and Finance. Further, by providing understanding of strategic impacts of financial decisions, students would be ready to face challenges normally encountered in broad based financial market. The course would also provide at least one month hands on learning leading to preparation of a report which will make the students more skillful and competent.

Further, to facilitate students for entry into academics, the course structure supports the process of competency building of the students for attaining success in NET/SET.

  • Delay in payment of Course Fee and Hostel Fee after the scheduled dates may incur penalty as may be decided by Academic Council.
  • All payments will be by DD in Favour of Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management, Sivasagar payable at State Bank of India, Sivasagar, Assam.
